@lucid-agents/deploy
Upload and verify guarded Cloudflare previews for generated Hono agents.
@lucid-agents/deploy is a tooling-only package used by newly generated blank
Hono projects. It exposes the lucid-deploy executable and a versioned
lucid.deploy.json schema; it deliberately has no JavaScript import API.
Preview deployment
Authenticate Wrangler interactively, then run the generated project command:
bunx wrangler login
bun run deployThe command uploads a new Worker version with a preview alias. It does not
change the production deployment. After Wrangler returns the public preview
origin, the command verifies the homepage, /health, and the root Agent Card
before reporting success.
For non-interactive automation, both an API token and the explicit safety flag are required:
CLOUDFLARE_API_TOKEN='scoped-token' bun run deploy -- --yesEnvironment boundary
The manifest is the upload allowlist. The deployer reads only named entries
from the project environment, sends secret-classified values through Wrangler's
secret file input, and prints variable names with redacted values. Wrangler
configuration cannot add its own Worker variables or unsafe value bindings.
Preview uploads force both identity auto-registration environment switches off,
even when the local .env enables them.
Private signing material and configured mainnet networks require explicit
confirmation. Provider commands run from an empty temporary directory with a
restricted process environment, which prevents implicit .env or .dev.vars
loading. Custom domains, DNS, account creation, ERC-8004 registration,
production deployment, and preview deletion are outside this first release.
See the CLI package for scaffold options. Pass
--no-deploy while generating a project to omit the Worker entry, manifest,
Wrangler configuration, and deployment dependencies.
